Our commitment
Ad Hoc Digital is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing program rather than a one-off project.
What we do
In building and maintaining adhocdigital.com.au we take the following steps:
- Use semantic HTML so the page structure is meaningful to screen readers and other assistive technologies.
- Provide descriptive text alternatives for non-decorative images.
- Maintain sufficient contrast between text and background colors.
- Support keyboard navigation across interactive elements.
- Respect the user's
prefers-reduced-motionsetting where animations are used. - Test the site across modern browsers and screen readers, and re-test when material changes are made.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, parts of the website may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA in full. Areas we are actively working on include:
- Third-party embeds (e.g. the booking calendar) where we depend on the third party's accessibility implementation.
- Older video and image content carried over from prior versions of the site, where alt-text or captions may be incomplete.
If you encounter a barrier on this site that is not listed here, we want to hear from you.
Reporting accessibility issues
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website, please email info@adhocdigital.com.au with a description of the issue, the page URL and, if possible, the assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within one business day and to remediate substantiated issues as soon as reasonably possible.
Alternative access
If the website is preventing you from getting in touch with us, we are happy to communicate by email at info@adhocdigital.com.au.
